Coach Wade played Varsity basketball and football at both Linden and Westfield High School in New Jersey. Fast forward 19 years later while working full-time Coach Wade attended Union County College part-time and graduated in 2008 with a degree in education. Despite severe health issues Coach Wade relentlessly continued his education at New Jersey City University and in 2013 graduated with a B.A in Sociology; something he is most proud of being that he and his son Desmond graduated from college the same year.
After coaching at the P.A.L’s, the Linden Recreation Centers, CYO’s, travel clubs, AAU’s, volunteering at Linden High School’s summer leagues and tournaments Coach Wade started his first Head Coaching High School job at the prestigious Wardlaw Hartridge Day School where he lead the team to two Conference Championships and later as the associate Head Coach at the State Powerhouse Bloomfield Tech and is now starting up his own Post-Graduate program for the 5th year senior…Thus Prestige Prep Academy was formed.
